The TSG Vision Board System
Vision boards shouldn’t be a static list of desires. They should be a living, breathing map of your seasonal growth.
At The Seasonal Garden, we use a unique, four-season wheel design to help you align your goals with the natural “Inhale” and “Exhale” of the year.
The Root System (Foundation)
Every vision board starts at the bottom. This is where you place your Root System — the stories and experiences that feed your current growth.
- Icon Idea: Kintsugi (broken pottery repaired with gold) or a resilient sapling.
- The Story: Put your personal “accident” or “pause” story here — the compost that is now feeding your 2026 harvest.
The Four Seasons Wheel
We design our boards in a circle, following the global rhythm:
- The Prune & Pause (Winter): Focus on reflection, rest, and pruning.
- The Sow & Launch (Spring): Focus on new ideas, planting seeds, and momentum.
- The Tend & Live (Summer): Focus on abundance, living in the world, and maintenance.
- The Harvest & Reflect (Autumn): Focus on gathering the results and reflecting on what worked.
How to Build Your Board
- The Central Shift: Place your primary goal for the year in the centre — one word or one image that represents your “Change.”
- The Colour Palette: Use cool blues and purples for the “Inhale” seasons (Winter/Autumn) and warm oranges and greens for the “Exhale” seasons (Spring/Summer).
- The Texture: Use natural textures — wood grain, paper, soil — to keep it grounded in the physical world.
Join a Workshop
Every quarter, we host a live Vision Board workshop on The Hive to help you update your wheel for the coming season.
