I returned to the soil.

For years, I followed the pack. I moved at the speed of “more” until a car accident forced a radical, non-negotiable pause. In that silence, I realized that the linear, 24/7 hustle wasn’t just unsustainable—it was a denial of how we actually grow.

When the world forces you to stop, you start to notice the things that actually matter. I realized that my job, my finances, and my creativity were all being treated like machines to be pushed, rather than living gardens to be tended.

The defining moment came during my recovery. As I tried to re-engage with my work, everything felt different. The people had changed, the pace felt hollow. Then, we lost our grandson, suddenly and unexpectedly. In that moment of profound grief, the “Machine” died for good. I realized I couldn’t be a cog anymore. I needed time around me—not just to work, but to breathe, to regroup, and to find the energy for even the smallest tasks.

The Seasonal Shift

Through the Seasonal Garden, I rediscovered the power of the Seasonal Shift. I learned that true empowerment doesn’t come from massive, unsustainable overhauls, but from the quiet discipline of seasonal pruning, intentional sowing, and respecting the pause.

Today, I’m building a framework that helps me—and hopefully you—find a rhythm that respects our humanity. Whether it’s through financial security, mastering micro-skills like the artisan rhythm of a traditional recipe, or using smart systems to buy back our time, TSG is about one thing:

Building a life that grows with you, not at the expense of you, your way.

“I returned to the soil.”
